:::I think they're protected, to be frank. Ness was almost crapped because his series wasn't very popular, but he still is an original veteran, so he must be kept! Actually, [http://metalgear.wikia.com/wiki/Raiden Raiden] could possibly be included with Snake (seeing how he's the star of MGS2 and all). Clone, maybe, or he could have a unique moveset with his sword he uses at the end of MGS2. Shadow would be great, if he's not a direct clone of Sonic. Also, scrapping [[Lucas|Luke]] would end the much heated debate over him and Ness "being clones" and all (and Nintendo would replace him with someone else, [[Lucario (SSBB)|if you know what I mean]]). Lastly... Dixie would be a great female character to Smash.
