'''Plup''' is a [[smasher]] from Florida, who is considered to be one of the best players in the world, one of the best ''[[Melee]]'' {{SSBM|Sheik}} players (along with {{Sm|Mew2King}}) and the best {{SSBM|Samus}} player in the world. He has had strong placings in nationals, such as 3rd at [[EVO 2016]], 4th at [[CEO 2016]], and 5th at [[Smash Summit 2]] and [[Smash Summit 3]]. He is also a strong doubles player, frequently teaming with {{Sm|Hungrybox}} to great success. He is currently ranked 6th on the [[2016 SSBMRank]] and 1st on the [[Florida Power Rankings|Central Florida Melee Power Rankings]].

After [[Apex 2015]], Plup has officially made the switch from {{SSBM|Samus}} to maining {{SSBM|Sheik}}, while still using Samus as an occasional [[counterpick]]. Plup also has demonstrated his competence with other characters such as {{SSBM|Luigi}} with whom he almost managed to defeat {{Sm|Colbol}} at CFL Smackdown 68. He also managed to place 3rd at CFL Smackdown 72 by playing exclusively {{SSBM|Young Link}}. In addition, he won the tournament Frame One in 2016 using only {{SSBM|Fox}}, defeating {{Sm|Wizzrobe}}, {{Sm|Axe}}, and {{Sm|Colbol}} in the process.
