He is widely considered to be the best ''Brawl'' {{SSBB|Falco}} main in the United States, having done well in national tournaments and having taken sets off the best players in the world, such as {{Sm|Ally}}, {{Sm|Mew2King}}, {{Sm|Nairo}}, and {{Sm|RAIN}}, and is considered one of the best Falco mains in the world, on par with other significant players such as {{Sm|Masha}} and {{Sm|SLS}}. He is also widely considered to be the best ''Smash 4'' {{SSB4|Fox}} main, taking sets off players such as {{Sm|ESAM}} and {{Sm|Mr. R}}. Larry also plays {{SSBM|Falco}} in ''Melee'' at a professional level, and plays {{PM|Falco}} and {{PM|Fox}} in ''Project M'' at a top professional level as well, taking 3rd place at [[Apex 2014]]'s PM event using them.
