→‎Trivia: Mentioning Wario here is completely redundant, as Wario wasn't there since 64.
(There's something about this that I just don't like, but I can't think of a good enough reason to remove it, so I'm just gonna add a hidden note for why Wario isn't considered a platformer series (I'd also remove Kid Icarus since its representation in Smash is mainly based on Uprising, but then again, when the series debuted in Brawl, only the platformer installments existed, so meh...))
