I would say fake, however the render is new, and there's a completely curve ball character listed that I actually think sounds totally like something Sakurai would do. Also other small details I checked that seem to be there. :The appearance of Maxwell actually makes alot of sense, he's from a very popular bestselling franchise that has had several sequels and has mainly been on Nintendo consoles, not to mention his endless moveset potential using his notebook, that he can use to summon objects. He'd be a nice addition.
