:Because when AOB started using jigglypuff and did this to me, I cried out to him in frustration that it was like fighting against a "wall of pain". The difficulty I had in approaching the constant barrage of long hitboxes made it feel like an impenetrable barrier. The name stuck when we called it that on smashboards.
