The user clearly knows enough about the wiki to mock the people that come to it, so I'm sure s/he also knows that what they are doing is not acceptable. If s/he doesn't, but has been lurking long enough, than is this the kind of person that we want editing this wiki. Their perception will be that they've been banned for voicing their opinion, which they will believe to be typical of the administration on this wiki, and they will tell their friends, and their friends will avoid SmashWiki, and that will spread.
