'''Magnus''' ({{ja|マグナ|Maguna}}, ''Maguna'') is a character from ''Kid Icarus: Uprising''. He is a man of Herculean strength, and he is considered the mightiest human swordsman in the world, as well as being a skilled mercenary.

In ''{{s|icaruspedia|Kid Icarus: Uprising}}'', Magnus is a recurring character, being one of three notable human characters. In ''{{s|icaruspedia|Magnus and the Dark Lord}}'', whilst human forces are storming one of the {{s|icaruspedia|Underworld Army}}'s bases, Magnus appears as the only human who has successfully entered the [[icaruspedia:Gaol's Castle|castle]]. After a brief conversation, he and [[Pit]] team up for the remainder of the chapter because of their common goal of defeating the castle's ruler. Upon reaching the throne room, Magnus and Pit successfully defeat the castle's ruler, {{s|icaruspedia|Dark Lord Gaol}}, who is revealed to be both a woman and a long-time friendly rival of Magnus that was enslaved to fight on behalf of the Underworld Army by being forced to wear cursed armor.

Magnus does not appear again until ''{{s|icaruspedia|The Ring of Chaos}}''. Upon meeting an excited {{s|icaruspedia|dog}} that wants to give him [[icaruspedia:Ring of Chaos|an ornate ring]] in its mouth, Magnus ultimately decides to wear the ring. As a result, Magnus discovers himself to be possessed by Pit's soul due to its sealing with the ring. Following their reunion, Magnus reveals to Pit that three years have passed since {{s|icaruspedia|Palutena's Army}}, the {{s|icaruspedia|Forces of Nature}}, and the Underworld Army successfully repelled the  {{s|icaruspedia|Aurum}} invasion. He also reveals that soon after the invasion, [[Palutena]] began warring against humanity for unknown reasons, which included {{s|icaruspedia|Pit's Body}} fighting on her behalf. After defeating several {{s|icaruspedia|Centurion}}s, Magnus and Pit encounter and defeat Pit's Body; upon doing so, they put the ring on Pit's finger and reunite his soul with his body.
