Thanks for the videos, though it would be preferred to bring this up on either my or the article's talk page to prevent a useless back-n-forth. The issue was the difference between parry and powershield wasn't addressed, which to me seemed like the same. Since the page is named "parry", it makes sense to put proper parries at the top. Feel free to clarify/expand on these

Parrying is NOT yoshis unique lightshield slide properites, you can't even get a countr off of that. Also fun fact, yoshi's shield is the only one IN THE GAME that can't tilt or special cancel out of its shield drop animation. 1, you are on Yoshi's Parry page so it makes no sense to say "finally, Yoshi is able to Parry". 2, to Parry you need to powershield, which is done by fully pressing the button, is active in the first 6 frames, and is already mentioned. A good chunk is already cover in his own section on the Shield page. There's nothing wrong with wanting to expand/improve the section, but as far as I can tell everything you put is already there. Also, it does no good to say crouching helps if you don't say why

Hey CanvasK, sorry for changing the wiki without explaination. This edit is to explain the mechanics of PARRYING, not DJCC that is a different mechanic. DJCC is more similar to crouch canceling while PARRYING is more alike a stronger powershield. I made this change because this wiki page doesn't actually explain what PARRYING in Melee is or how to preform and optimise it; just like waveshining, parrying is an important mechanic in the Yoshi metagame. I hope this cleared things up.
