The Ludwig Smash Invitational Last Chance Qualifier was a Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate qualifier tournament for Ludwig Smash Invitational on October 21st, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada, hosted by commentator and YouTube streamer Ludwig. The Last Chance Qualifiers were double-elimination brackets capped at 64 players for each game, with all sets best of 5. The Top 8 players of each game qualified for the Ludwig Smash Invitational main singles event, bringing the total to 32 players for each game. The Last Chance Qualifiers were played up until Top 8, and did not play out the Top 8 bracket.[1] The players that qualified through the Last Chance Qualifier received full reimbursement for their flight and accommodations, and were provided food on Saturday and Sunday.

Trivia
- The first two games played between Franz and Polish in Melee singles ended in a timeout. Both games (as well as the overall set) went in Franz's favor.
- Shroomed took shots with n0ne in the middle of his Melee singles qualifying set against Trif.[7] Despite getting tipsy, he would also end up winning the set. This continues the running joke that Shroomed gets powered up when there's a qualifying spot on the line. (For example, GameTyrant Expo 2017 to qualify for Smash Summit 5 and GENESIS 7 to qualify for Smash Summit 9.)
