Dream Land is a stage that appears in the original Super Smash Bros. and returns in Super Smash Bros. Melee as Past Stages: Dream Land.

Dream Land can also refer to the area in which the following stages are located: Dream Land (from Super Smash Bros.); Fountain of Dreams, Green Greens, Past Stages: Dream Land (all from Super Smash Bros. Melee); and Battleship Halberd (from Super Smash Bros. Brawl).

Dream Land

The stage was first introduced in SSB. This is also the stage where you fight the group of Kirbys. This is a rather simple stage. It is similar to other stages like Melee's Battlefield and Fountain of Dreams where it has 3 platforms floating over a main one. Whispy Woods from Melee's Green Greens is also in this stage. He will blow on one side of the stage every so often to mess up the battle. His wind seems a little more powerful then it is in Green Greens. This stage is legal in SSB conpetitive play.

Dream Land is also known as Past Stages: Dream Land in Melee, and is one of the three unlockable past stages from SSB. You unlock this stage by beating target test with every character.

This stage is neutral in SSBM.

This is considered Peach's, Samus's (against certain chars), and Ganondorf's best stage.

Character strengths/weaknesses (SSB)

  • Kirby is stronger (easy combos, kirbycides)
  • Captain Falcon's best stage (insanly easy to combo)
  • DK is somewhat weaker (no wall)
  • Link is weaker (less room to use projectiles)
  • Mario is normal
  • Luigi is normal
  • Jigglypuff is stronger (low ceiling plus high horizonatal means good recovery), easy rest combos
