Hi there![edit]

Welcome!

Welcome to our wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.

Read this first as it provides many great resources designed to help users get oriented with the wiki and become part of the community.
Visit the recent changes to see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
Questions? You can ask at the help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
Need help? The community portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit.

I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!

Please use the preview button rather than repeatedly editing the same page. Recent changes is already very cluttered and we should work to keep that clutter to an absolute minimum. Miles (talk) 21:41, 8 April 2014 (EDT)

SW:1RV[edit]

If someone undoes your edit, don't undo them back, settle it on the talk page. DoctorPain99 16:40, 12 April 2014 (EDT)

Okay. I'll do it. --EpicWendigo (talk) 16:42, 12 April 2014 (EDT)

Edit warring[edit]

Do not repeatedly revert edits, especially made by admins. You are claiming speculation as fact, in violation of our policy. Take disagreements to the associated talk page, rather than repeatedly reverting. Miles (talk) 16:41, 12 April 2014 (EDT)

Miles, whether or not a user is an admin isn't relevant and you need to follow 1RV also. DoctorPain99 16:43, 12 April 2014 (EDT)
Wendigo, when you undo an edit, please give a reason in the edit summary. Undoing the edit of someone who gave a reason without giving a reason yourself will makes everyone confused. I've noticed multiple reverts in your contributions that arent labeled with a reason. FirstaLasto 01:37, 5 May 2014 (EDT)

Hello[edit]

Just wanted to quickly say - first, you're doing well! Oh, and second- minor SP&G edits can - and really should - be marked as minor. So people know you haven't turns the article on its head. 'K? :) ScoreCounter (talk) 16:32, 17 April 2014 (EDT)

You're welcome! Also, if you're asked something on here, chances are they'll be hanging around on Recents to see when you reply, so you can just reply on here. :) (Oh, and I'm not a admin so... don't ask me...?) ScoreCounter (talk) 16:40, 17 April 2014 (EDT)

Welcoming users[edit]

Hi, when welcoming new users, please use {{subst:welcome}}. Don't try to make your own welcome. Thanks. ZeldaStarfoxfan2164 (talk) is made in America 12:23, 18 April 2014 (EDT)

This[edit]

...is not an appropriate talk page post. If you don't wish to contribute to a discussion, the don't make a sidelines post. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Non-Toxic 00:37, 19 June 2014 (EDT)

Creating smasher articles[edit]

If you're going to create a smasher article by putting down the absolute bare minimum, at least put in a smasherbeta with adequate information and the appropriate categories. An article that consists of a single incomplete 10 word sentence, with absolutely nothing else and no links of any kind, is useless. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 09:23, 20 June 2014 (EDT)

I'll note that this applies to any sort of article, not just smasher ones. Creating a moveset subpage with only a single sentence makes people's jobs harder, as now it doesn't appear as a redlink but still lacks maintenance categories (such as {{technical data}} and {{competitive expertise}}), making it effectively invisible to people who are looking to fill things in. Sorry about that. --EpicWendigo (talk) 10:57, 20 June 2014 (EDT)

It's okay. It just means I have to expand it. :P Dots (talk) Link OoT Dots.PNG The Sandvich 11:07, 20 June 2014 (EDT)

Creating articles for each specific move[edit]

This mainly refers to your edit to the Mario Finale alternate page. Those pages exist to solely provide frame data and what not for the move. There's no real need to go around creating these pages and providing basic information like that when we already have a regular Mario Finale page dedicated to that. Again, sub-pages are meant to show frame data and little else. MegaTron1XDDecepticon.png 16:36, 21 June 2014 (EDT)
