Not necessary, no. The whole point is protection against vandalism. The theory is that if a user is willing to a) stay around for 10 days, and b) make at least 7 edits, they won't vandalize. Serpent SKSig.png King 17:16, 27 February 2016 (EST)

Normally I wouldn't be coming to people about this, but earlier today you asked three people to be their friend. Normally I wouldn't mind this, but after checking your edit count, I can't say I'm impressed. Out of the 107 edits you've made on the wiki, you've only made 8 mainspace edits and 82 edits to talk pages. Typically overediting of talk pages isn't exactly a bad thing, but 8 mainspace edits compared to 82 talk page edits is not good, especially when most of the talk page edits seem to be breaches of SW:TALK. Additionally, while it is okay to make friends on the wiki, I would like to remind you too that SmashWiki is not an instant messaging service.
