Swirlix (ペロッパフ Peroppafu) is confirmed to appear in Super Smash Bros. 4. When released from a Poké Ball, it slows the movement of anyone nearby.
Origin
Swirlix was introduced in Generation VI, as a Fairy-type Pokémon. It is found in the wild in Pokémon X as a version exclusive; its Y counterpart is Spritzee. Swirlix evolves into Slurpuff if traded holding a Whipped Dream. Both it and its evolved form have a signature Ability, Sweet Veil, which prevents it and any other active allies from falling asleep.
