Kirby and the Amazing Mirror is a game in the Kirby series. It is the only game in the Kirby series that doesn't feature King Dedede.

In The Super Smash Bros. Series

  • Unusually, the Super Smash Bros. Series does not take content from this game; rather, the opposite happens. Master Hand and Crazy Hand appear as the final bosses in Candy Constellation. Master Hand and Crazy Hand also appear three times as a miniboss - in Rainbow Route, Radish Ruins and Candy Constellation. The music Forest / Nature Area is in Brawl and is the only GBA music to be unchanged.

Plot

There is a mirror world in the skies of Dream Land. In that world, any wish made in a mirror will come true. One day, it only copies evil minds and becomes a world of evil. Meta Knight notices this and flies up to save that world. Meanwhile, Kirby is taking a walk when a Dark Meta Knight appears. The Dark Meta Knight slices Kirby in 4 and Kirby becomes the 4 diffrent Kirbies shown on the box art. Kirby then procedes to travel alone but if his cell phone is working, he can call the other Kirbies to his location. These Kirbies can be a CPU or controlled by another player. They chase the Dark Meta Knight and go in the Mirror World. Meta Knight and his dark conuterpart fight. Meta Kngiht is defeated and is knocked into the mirror. Dark Meta Knight slashes the mirror into 8 fragments and scatters them across the world. Kirby then procedes to gather the fragments and rescue Meta Knight. At this point, the player can choose their own story line by picking which fragment to get and where to go. After Kirby gets all the fragments, Kirby then battles Dark Meta Knight and defeats him. After defeating him, a vortex appears and sucks Kirby in. Kirby then meets Meta Knight and is given his sword. Kirby then fights 4 bosses and then battles the Dark Mind. After the Dark Mind is defeated, peace is restored to the Mirror World.
