F-Zero (エフゼロ, Efu Zero, F-ZERO) is a futuristic racing game developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was the first game in the F-Zero series.

• All four main characters in F-Zero appear in the Super Smash Bros. series:
  • Captain Falcon is a playable character in Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Smash Bros. 4.
  • Dr. Stewart appears as a trophy in both Melee and Brawl.
  • Samurai Goroh appears both as an Assist Trophy and as a normal trophy in Brawl and SSB4.
  • Pico appears as a trophy in Brawl
• Big Blue, a stage in Melee and Brawl, Port Town Aero Dive, a stage in Brawl, and Mute City, a stage in Smash 3DS, originated from this game.
• The game is also available as one of the playable Masterpieces in Brawl and Smash Wii U.
