Axe (, Axe) is Simon and Richter's neutral special move.

Overview

Axe is a projectile that travels in a high arc and pierces through opponents. It can be thrown in three different arcs depending on which direction is held during its startup. It is also able to travel through ground and pierce through fighters, however it will stop if it's shielded.

Origin

The axe is a sub-weapon that appears throughout the Castlevania series. As with other sub-weapons, the use of axes requires hearts, which act as ammo. Both the axes themselves and the hearts required to use them are often found by breaking candles located across the map.
