8-Player Smash is a gameplay mode in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. This mode allows eight players to play on the same stage at one time. However, only a select few stages can be played on. These stages are: Battlefield, Big Battlefield, Mario Galaxy, Bridge of Eldin, Hyrule Temple, Yoshi's Island, The Great Cave Offensive, Onett, Castle Siege, Palutena's Temple, Gaur Plain, 75m, and Windy Hill. Additionally, it seems the Ω Form of every stage can be selected, and will increase in size to accommodate all the players. In Team Battles, an additional team color, the yellow team, can be selected.
