Smashville
Smashville is a confirmed stage for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, based off of the Animal Crossing franchise. Players battle on a floating platform suspended above an Animal Crossing town while spectators watch on. The stage's scenery changes from night to day depending on the Wii's internal clock--K.K. Slider plays at 8:00 PM on Saturdays.
The stage's confirmation provided a considerably large amount of evidence towards a playable Animal Crossing character. When Dr. Wright was revealed, he was given the Super Smash Bros. symbol, indicating a lack of playable SimCity characters (The argument that this is because of his connection with the SSB-only Assist Trophy is moot, because Samurai Goro, who is also a Helper, recieved the F-Zero symbol). However, Smashville got an Animal Crossing symbol.
