This is a more organized and condensed version of all the maintenance categories and to-do sections in one place. This project is open to anyone to work on and I encourage people to help out. While most is self explanatory, other notes may be listed under sections. Please remove links once you're done making the required changes.

Shortest Pages

Naturally, these should have more content written for them! If it makes more sense to, pages should instead be merged into other spaces. Split into 'normal' pages and attack pages for full coverage.

Below is a table of categories that different files should use as a baseline; additional categories can be used but should be included with those listed below. Content between angle brackets (<>) are notes and should be replaced with what is described in the note (e.g. "Category:<associated universe> universe" -> "Category:Mario universe" for Mario related things). Pokémon images

There's a lot of Pokémon and a lot of them need images. Below is a list of Pokémon that needs images and which game they need an image from. The Pokémon should be the main focus with no other Pokémon visible. Fighters should not be visible unless they are interacting with the Pokémon, such as being on the receiving end of an attack or artistic shots. Stage isn't very important as long as they are visible; when in doubt a Pokémon stage or a stage that fits the Pokémon's theme (such as Deoxys on a space stage) would work. Files should include the categories "Screenshots (<GAME>)/Animated images (<GAME>)" and "Pokémon (<GAME>)", fighter's respective categories should also be used if they are interacting.

Going through userpages and finding old photo stashes

Really no other way to go through this other than going through the 300-odd userpages that show up when searching "image", "file", and "photo" then looking for pages which contain stashes. First step is to document the location of said stashes, then to go through them individually and change their categorization as needed. If an image has a potential mainspace use, list it below and say what needs to be met before it might be used. If said use is already fulfilled better by an existing image, then replace all categories with Category:User images. DekZek Dekzeksig.png 01:46, March 5, 2021 (EST)

Category cleanup

Suggested by NPM. The following categories contain pages and images that are already categorized. However, some are improperly categorized. They may have missing categories or incorrect categories. Sub-categories should be added to these pages or images when applicable.

*Smashers who are originally from a specific region but are barely involved with that region should have that particular category removed.
