Doctor Mario is a character in SSBM, unlocked by either clearing Classic Mode on any difficulty or stock setting with Mario without using any continues or by playing 100 Versus Mode matches.

• Has good KO moves that often don't require a setup
• Good edge-guarder
• Pills, due to their high bounce, are excellent at disturbing enemy approach
• Two chain throws
• A great comboing character overall
• Vesatile back aerial for combos and edge-guards
• Long wavedash
• His cape is useful for diverting enemy attacks and recoveries

Cons

• Lacks range
• Very short recovery
