Battlefield[edit]

The existing version of Battlefield most similar to the one in the fictional Smash 5.

Largely the same as in previous games (aside from more intuitive item spawn points), Battlefield returns.

The existing version of Final Destination most similar to the one in the fictional Smash 5.

An orange and black colored Final Destination. In terms of gameplay, it is the same as usual.

  • Master Hand's Residence - Master Hand occasionally appears as a stage boss, and the stage is larger.
  • Final Destination Pillar - The small area in the center of the stage releases a deadly pillar of light every 30 seconds.

Super Mario Maker 2[edit]

An example of how the stage would appear, albeit with Bowser Jr. and Mario.

Similar to the original version, but with the possibility of non-terrain elements appearing, such as spikes, and varying areas.

  • Calm Mario Maker (Ω) - Surrounded by bottomless pits, and omits any hazardous elements.
  • Athletic Mario Maker - Consists entirely of semisolid and mushroom platforms.

  • Pirate Ship Illusion (Ω) - The water is fall-through, enemy fire narrowly misses the ship, the catapult doesn't appear, and the King of Red Lions is in the background.
  • Lookout Platform - Similar to the old Final Destination version of the stage, but bombs fire along the sides of the stage.

Green Greens in Brawl.

Mostly the same, albeit a bit smaller.

Variations[edit]

  • Peaceful Green Greens (Ω) - No blocks appear, the apples are much weaker, and Wispy Woods does not blow wind.
  • Mega Green Greens - The stage is larger and the apples and wind are stronger.

Identical to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS's version.

Variations[edit]

  • Tall Jungle Japes (Ω) - Water and Klaptraps removed. The stage is also slightly smaller and lower.
  • Jumping Japes - Klaptraps jump much higher, but Blue Klaptraps recognize ledge invincibility and spike, while Orange Klaptraps deal less damage.
