Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade (ファイアーエムブレム 封印の剣, Faiā Emuburemu: Fūin no Tsurugi) is a Japanese tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. It is the sixth game in the Fire Emblem series and the first of three games in the series that have appeared on Nintendo's Game Boy Advance handheld.
There is speculation that this may be the same game, under a different translation, as "Fire Emblem: The Sword of Seal", the full title of which wasn't written on the game itself, but was released in the U.S. as simply "Fire Emblem" for the GameBoy Advance.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee
The game's main hero, Roy, is a secret playable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Interestingly, this was Roy's first appearance in a video game, as Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade wasn't released released until after Melee.
