[edit] Game Boy Pocket
Pocket-sized model of the original Game Boy hardware with an improved, sharper screen, and better battery-life.
[edit] Game Boy Light
GB Pocket with a backlit screen, released only in Japan.
[edit] Game Boy Color
The Game Boy's successor introducing a color screen, and a slightly revised cartridge design with games which were not backwards-compatible with older GBs, although the GBC itself could play older GB games. For some unknown reason Brawl labels GBC games under its predecessor Game Boy.

[edit] Game Boy Advance SP
Folded over, similar to the later DS, but with one screen. Also incorporated a frontlight.
[edit] Game Boy Micro
Miniature Game Boy Advance, with a similar form factor to the original Advance in a smaller casing.
