==Rules/qualifications==
Smashers used to get into PPS by being friends with one of the members (for example, KoRoBeNiKi knew MattNF) or by proving to SuperBoomFan and Fireblaster that they were good enough.
Now, a Smasher needs to ask one of the members in order to become a member of PPS. In almost all circumstances, they need to be recommended by the majority of the people, most commonly by MattNF, KoRoBeNiKi and Fireblaster. Alternatively, a recommendation from SuperBoomFan alone will usually result in the Smasher's induction into the crew. Smashers must regularly use more than one character to be considered, though it's all right if a Smasher has only one main, so long as they have a strong backup character. This is especially significant to the crew if the prospective Smasher mains [[Kirby (SSB)|Kirby]].
Once in the crew, there are certain rules that the members must abide by. They are never allowed to flame other people on the internet, except when a non-member uses their logo, which they defend vehemently.

Prodigies of Premium Smash (or PPS for short) was a Smash 64 crew active during 2006-2010, which was once considered the best online crew following MC's disbandment. Members were noted by having either the stylized ¨°PÞ-§°¨ or PPS before their name. The honor currently belongs to TR3G, an (almost entirely) Fox crew which has some of the old PPS members along with other strong players.
