| The '''Trophy Stand''' ({{ja|スマッシュプレート|Sumasshu Purēto}}, ''Smash Plate'') is an [[item]] that is used in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''{{'}}s [[Subspace Emissary]] mode. Upon being thrown, the user will go through a spinning windup before releasing the Trophy Stand in the chosen direction. If it doesn't hit an enemy, it can be picked up again, but there is a chance it might despawn. If it hits an enemy, it will either deal moderately high damage, or capture the enemy as a trophy. If the damage from the trophy stand is enough to KO the enemy, it is a guaranteed capture. Otherwise, the odds of a successful capture varies depending on the enemy, and how much HP they have remaining.

| Trophy Stands appear more commonly on higher difficulties, which serves to reward a player for choosing them as well as making strong and rare trophies of boss enemies harder to obtain.
