Wii Fit (Wii Fit, Wii Fit) is the Wii Fit Trainer's Final Smash.

Overview

Wii Fit Trainer initiates the attack by assuming the tree position, and yelling one of six phrases, such as, "Let's get fired up!" or "Let's... step up the intensity." These phrases are different for the male Wii Fit Trainer and female Wii Fit Trainer. The Wii Fit Trainer then releases a multitude of human silhouettes of varying color, each in a variety of yoga and exercise poses. These silhouettes travel outward from Wii Fit Trainer, spreading out the farther they travel. This Final Smash's function bears resemblance to Mario Finale.

Each silhouette deals 3% or 4% damage for every time they touch a fighter, and can trap the opponents into their hurt/hitstun animation, pushing them backwards off the stage, towards the blast line. The foe can be hit by the silhouettes nine to eleven times at maximum efficiency. The total amount of damage done by this Final Smash varies, but if the opponent is hit the maximum amount of times possible, they will be damaged between 33% and 37%. The move can effectively KO around 93%, although it can also KO by simply pushing the opponents too far away for them to recover back onto the stage.

In Ultimate, the final silhouette released is much larger than the others and moves slowly across the stage. However, the other silhouettes now have a limited range.

Origin

The move is derived from the various poses that the trainers and players are required to stretch during gameplay of the Wii Fit series. The silhouette art-style used for the attack matches the yoga poses seen on the Japanese boxart for Wii Fit.

Ntsc Wii Fit Trainer strikes the Warrior pose, sending an army of silhouettes flying forth in a variety of poses (21 in all!). This Final Smash's individual hits don't hurt much, but they add up and can even push foes off the edge. Meanwhile, Wii Fit Trainer is invincible! Trivia

  • While the Wii Fit Trainer herself has a ponytail hairstyle, the silhouettes that appear in the Final Smash have her hair in a bun. A similar case occurs with the Wii Fit series symbol.
  • The silhouettes appear to be female, even while using the male Wii Fit Trainer.
  • Like Shulk, Wii Fit's damage can be increased if the player successfully uses Deep Breathing before using it, much like using Monado Arts.
