The preview buttonEdit

Hi, I see you're trying to create a new page, but edits to one page over and over clogs up the recent changes. Please use the "show preview" button next to the save button in order to show a preview of what it is you're editing so that way you can include everything at once without having to constantly save to make sure it looks good. Thanks! Disaster Flare   (talk) 14:14, April 5, 2020 (EDT)

Quick reminder of this. Cookies Creme 17:49, April 5, 2020 (EDT)

My apologies. I'll try to do more edits at a time. I lost an edit earlier and so became kind of scared of doing it in bulk. But I'll go back to doing that. Wiifitkid (talk) 17:53, April 5, 2020 (EDT)

DoublesEdit

Don't forget to check and add results for doubles. Cookies Creme 09:46, April 8, 2020 (EDT)

Hey, thanks for taking care of that. I'll still get more tournaments and notable wins added later.

And I'll pay extra attention to the doubles in the future. Wiifitkid (talk) 11:07, April 8, 2020 (EDT)

Whiskey BEdit

If you want, I'll take the Whiskey B page. Cookies Creme 17:21, April 10, 2020 (EDT)

Go for it. I got frustrated after I put a bunch of work into it and lost it on two occasions Wiifitkid (talk) 21:14, April 10, 2020 (EDT) Wiifitkid (talk) 21:14, April 10, 2020 (EDT)

I appreciate the enthusiasm for smasher pages...Edit

...but could you do them one at a time? You left Luchalitten incomplete before moving on to Karoegu. Cookies Creme 14:52, April 11, 2020 (EDT)

Please read my notes on one edits. I left it incomplete because Smashgg completely stopped working for me in the middle of it. I always planned to come back but there was no way to finish it at that time and I had already posted it because smash gg was working when I started it Wiifitkid (talk) 14:55, April 11, 2020 (EDT)
Yep, I saw the comment right after finishing the page, so you're good. In the future, I recommend trying to do everything in one go, since page creations don't get edit conflicts. Cookies Creme 14:58, April 11, 2020 (EDT)
Wish I could. But I've lost a dozen pages trying to do that with smash gg pages. I'm assuming that's something to do with my phone or wifi with loading smash gg pages. So I kind of have to do it in a handful of edits. Doing my best not to clog up recent changes though. Wiifitkid (talk) 15:01, April 11, 2020 (EDT)
Gotcha. Keep up the good work though! Cookies Creme 15:01, April 11, 2020 (EDT)

(reset indent) Also, could you go over the Smasher pages you create before publishing it? The last few smasher pages featured wrong tournament names and placements. Cookies Creme 10:38, April 15, 2020 (EDT)

Tiny reminderEdit

I noticed whenever you try to make a minor edit, you typed "M" inside the edit summary instead of actually marking the edits as minor edit. There should be a checkbox above the save button thats marks ur edits as minor edits if you are editing on a computer. Alternatively, there is also an option that automatically marks all your edits as minor edits which I always use. You can find that option in "Special:Preferences".   Naughty🐽GRAND DAD 自閉肥宅   03:16, April 13, 2020 (EDT)

Smasher pagesEdit

Hey, nice job on the Smasher pages so far! If you need any other resources, I recommend using Smashdata.gg. It's especially helpful for pulling out Ultimate tournaments and PGR'd Smash 4 tournaments. Cookies Creme 09:19, April 22, 2020 (EDT)

Wait, I thought he is already using it tho... He put one day only for EVO Japan, probably because smashdata only shows 1 day for each tournaments.   Naughty🐽GRAND DAD 自閉肥宅   12:59, April 22, 2020 (EDT)
Eh I only recently realized a couple days ago that the data also has an option for smash 4 data. When I knew the player was a smash 4 player at the start of creating the page I added smash 4 tournies, but I havent done so when I only realized at the end. I kind of pick profiles based upon how much time Im expecting to have. That's also why I do more Japanese profiles. American and European players that are mostly smashgg links take a lot more time to create and usually srent practical for me to do unless I have a decent amount of time.

To be fair to me this is all new to me. I feel like I've made a lot of improvements at page creation compared to when I started a few weeks ago. Wiifitkid (talk) 13:28, April 22, 2020 (EDT)

I should of known I had to put colons when making a second paragraph. Sorry Wiifitkid (talk) 13:29, April 22, 2020 (EDT)

Yeah you've done a lot of work on Japanese smasher pages recently, and I really appreciate it. Keep up the good work! Cookies Creme 13:31, April 22, 2020 (EDT)

Your recent pagesEdit

Nice work! Your contributions reflect the kind of awesome work we SmashWikidians like to see!
I've lost count on the number of new Smashers you created, specifically for Japan. That and all of the tournaments you have added, and you definitely deserve this. Cookies Creme 20:20, May 4, 2020 (EDT)

Thanks I appreciate it. It's been a cathartic way to deal with stress. Wiifitkid (talk) 21:38, May 4, 2020 (EDT)

SW:USEREdit

As per SW:USER, Userpages are not supposed to be linked to categories. Gonna suggest removing those.   S3AHAWK (talk)  22:24, July 25, 2020 (EDT)

To my knowledge, it's okay (but generally discouraged) to have categories in a draft, as this appears to be. You should add the {{draft}} template and move it to an appropriate subpage (such as User:Wiifitkid/Smasher:Invy). ~ Serena Strawberry (talk) 22:34, July 25, 2020 (EDT)
Thanks I'll fix that. Wasnt aware of the the rule. Wiifitkid (talk) 22:59, July 25, 2020 (EDT)

Quick thanksEdit

Hey! I just want to say thanks for helping me out with the Kurobra 24 page. I forgot to add a few things, but you cleaned it up for me. Also your work on all the Japanese smashers is well done as well. PowerShield03 (talk) 13:00, December 27, 2020 (EDT)

No problem. I appreciate it and I usually just add things as I run into them. Wiifitkid (talk) 13:57, December 27, 2020 (EST)

Presenting evidenceEdit

Hey there, regarding the revisions of https://www.ssbwiki.com/Smasher:EmmiZhang?action=history, I have spoken directly with Emmi herself: https://imgur.com/a/xisSgwW. If such information is not enough, you can confirm with her yourself: https://www.facebook.com/emmi.zhang/. When you say "This is our understanding of what is known to be true." can you provide your side of the evidence? Have you actually spoken with Emmi herself? Or are such information based on conversations with others? Given that there are inconsistencies on the actual identity, the page should be removed as no information can be verified.
