Something to note

Some smashers share a tag with other players. As a result of this, we sort them by the region they're in. For example, there's a Light in Connecticut and a Light in Germany. To distinguish between these two, we use {{Sm|Light|p=Connecticut}} and {{Sm|Light|p=Germany}}. When adding results, make sure the link redirects to the correct smasher. Anyways, keep up the good work! CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 21:07, October 5, 2019 (EDT)

Another thing I should add: don't forget to add categories for both tournaments and smasher pages. You can look at other tournament/smasher pages for examples.
Anyways, nice job with all the Smasher and Tournament pages! CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 15:21, November 26, 2019 (EST)
Sorry for the very late response, but thank you so much. It’s nice contributing to the wiki! PowerShield03 (talk) 7:38, December 14, 2019 (EST)

I made a huge mistake...

Recently I uploaded pages of Umebura 3 and 6 on SmashWiki. However, I left something out that was very crucial: I forgot to put "Tournament:" when typing out the names for both articles. So now when you look them up in the search bar, it shows up as a regular article and not a tournament page. Anyone know how to fix this? PowerShield03 PowerShield03 (talk) 14:40, November 3, 2019 (EST)

Oh I guess I'm a bit too late... there's an option to move the page next to "edit page", and you can move it from there. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 19:16, November 13, 2019 (EST)

Just so you know

Just Roll With It 11 was only a C-tier by PGRU v1 entrant standards, since top players weren't counted. If it had been in any other season, it would've been B-tier by entrants or by PGR entrants. In other words, tiers aren't the best way to judge whether a tournament is a national or not, especially season 1. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 10:48, January 20, 2020 (EST)

True that tiers aren't the ideal way of judging stuff as that, but I still kept the point as comparing nationals to a popular tournament series that in this entree had notable current/previously ranked PGR players and the highest attendance out of all of them is kinda weird. Smasher page resources

I've noticed you've created a lot of Smasher pages recently, so I suggest using SmashData to search for Ultimate results. It has not just PGR tournaments, but several other Smash.gg tournaments as well, making it very useful for data collecting. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 15:13, January 31, 2020 (EST)

Oh wow, thank you so much. My main sources for Smasher pages are smash.gg and Smash Record for Japanese players. Smash.gg is really messy of a site if you're looking for a player's results imo so hope this alleviates that issue I have. PowerShield03 (talk) 15:34, February 2, 2020 (EST)

Recent effort

Nice work! Your contributions reflect the kind of awesome work we SmashWikidians like to see!
Thanks for creating all of those Smasher and Tournament pages, specifically those in Europe. You definitely deserve this. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 09:50, May 6, 2020 (EDT)

thank you so much, I feel special now. :) PowerShield03 (talk) 12:04, May 6, 2020 (EST)

Recent Smasher pages

A quick heads up, some of your recent Smasher pages have been incredibly borderline notable or, in the case of JaeSeoul, not notable at all. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 21:19, December 20, 2020 (EST)

I get the JaeSeoul one, I just made it because it was a quick one to make, but Kesa and ForbiddenOne were on the notable Captain Falcon and Pac-Man players section, respectively. Also Niklas is also one of the only active Melee Young Link players. The reason why they look so borderline is because of lack of results. PowerShield03 0:30, December 21, 2020 (EST)

Oh I was more thinking about Symphony and Gellersan. The pages you mentioned are fine imo. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 15:08, December 21, 2020 (EST)

AFD

Hi, you need to get an admin approval before making any AFD edits, I'll let the shitty Ganon cosplay stay, but don't make any other such edits without approval. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 13:26, April 1, 2021 (EDT)

My bad. Just to make sure, who are the admins I ask for approval for the AFD edits? PowerShield03 17:51, April 1st, 2021 (EDT)
It's too late now as submissions are closed, but you can see the admins on SW:ADMIN. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 17:56, April 1, 2021 (EDT)
Hey, there's always a next year. PowerShield03 21:16, April 1st, 2021 (EDT)

Photo request

Hey! I'm a Wikipedia editor who likes to write about Smash players (my profile). I saw you uploaded Magi's photo File:Magi.jpeg. I was wondering if you owned the copyright to the photo / took the photo yourself? It would be awesome to have a good-quality photo of Magi for her Wikipedia page, if you would be willing to upload it there. Thanks, Bridget (talk) 12:32, June 12, 2022 (EDT)

I personally am fine with you using the photo, however, I don't own the image itself. I don't remember where I found the image since I uploaded it so long ago, but it was most likely from a Twitter page, considering a lot of photos involving smash players are posted there by the photographers or tournament pages. Sorry I can't help that much on the original source of the image, but if you want to use the image anyways, that's completely fine for me. PowerShield03 (talk) 12:52, June 12, 2022 (EDT)
That makes sense! Thanks for your quick response. Bridget (talk) 13:20, June 12, 2022 (EDT)
