Whoa

I never brawled you yet...SmoreKing Happy Holidays! 13:25, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

We should fix that. But I'm at my grandparent's house right now, so we'll have to wait until until after 5. And my uncle is coming over to my house at 7, so it has to be between 5 and 7. Are you available then, or should we Brawl another day? --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 13:30, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
I'm good then. See you then!SmoreKing Happy Holidays! 13:31, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

You may want to get rid of the Merry Christmas thing, since it's the 30th now.Smoreking 2009 is coming! 14:15, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Done. As for our Brawl last night, sorry it didn't happen. I forgot. Hey, do you think I should archive my page now? --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 14:19, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Brawl

Haha, sounds good, what time zone are you in? I'm PST. I can be available sometime during my evening hours. Pardon if I might have a random disconnect, I'm using my neighbor's internet to play online because our router is not working. If we can't brawl today, I am available almost all day tomorrow. ClonedPickle 21:16, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Alright, I'll try to be online at around 4:00, since around 3:00 I usually do my afternoon exercise. If I'm not online at that time, I'll definitely be online at around 6:00-7:00. ClonedPickle 21:54, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Sorry I am keeping you waiting, I got a little busy regarding senior project stuff. I should be able to play you at around 6:10 (9:10 your time). ClonedPickle 01:28, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Dang it, the internet is not working. I'll keep trying to connect. ClonedPickle 02:15, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
I just spent an hour Brawling BNK. Can we put this off until tommorow? --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 02:16, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Yea, tomorrow would be better for me too. I'll be available around 1:00-6:00 (4:00-9:00 your time) because I'm not planning to go anywhere. And hopefully the internet is working. Any particular time for you? ClonedPickle 02:21, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Same as today's time. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 02:27, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Well, the internet for my Wii is working, so just tell me when you're ready and we can brawl. ClonedPickle 23:03, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

I've had the same problem, but I've never been able to find a way around it. Try asking your question here. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 14:14, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Epic new page! Can you tell me what it's called when two attacks collide with each other? I've seen that alot. Sunday, I was playing as Falco and my neutral combo was constantly colliding with Pikachu's. Blue Ninjakoopa 01:44, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

I don't think that it has an official name. But if it does, you'll probably find it on this page. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 01:46, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
I looked, and all I found were a few familiar tricks/glitches and whatnot. Thanks for helping. I think it should be called something like Attack Canceling or Collision. What do you think? Blue Ninjakoopa 01:51, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Priority calls it "cling". --Shadowcrest 01:51, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

SSBM fighters' Overview/Gameplay/X in competitive play sections

I'm not sure if you're the person I should ask about this (perhaps I should post this on the Admin notice board?), but you seem like a nice, active sysop here, so I figured I could ask you. Anyway, here goes: You may have noticed that a few of the SSBM fighters have a section similar to attributes, but not labeled attributes. No offense to whoever wrote them, but they are poorly written IMO. Take Marth (SSBM)#Overview for example. It has unnecessary info (it talks about match-ups and professioal Marth players), opinions ("best" side smash), lacks some important info (it doesn't talk about any of Marth's weaknesses), and it can be redundant (mentions something about how great his side smash is twice). Plus, only a few of SSBM fighter pages have these sections. So, would it be a problem if I removed them? In their place I will put attributes (using pros and cons as the building blocks). Enigmatic Mr. L 23:33, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

You may also want to look at SmashWiki:Post-Merge Cleanup for information. --Shadowcrest 00:00, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
I appreciate the compliment, but I really can't answer your question. Try asking it here or here. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 01:05, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

I don't know how to upload snapshots from Brawl onto SmashWiki. How do you get them off the Wii's system memory, and onto a computer? Thanks, PenguinofDeath 16:38, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Thank You

Thank you for blocking him. Are you sure two weeks is enough though the amount of times I had to revert edits on my user page. I know that I am a bit bias but he was not only vandalising pages, he was abusing me and accusing me of being a blackmailer, cyber bully, gay and all sorts of things like that. Solar Dragon (Talk) 21:11, September 20, 2009 (UTC)

He has another IP address. Special:Contributions/208.53.157.16‎. Solar Dragon (Talk) 21:13, September 20, 2009 (UTC)
And, he started on my user page again. Solar Dragon (Talk) 21:16, September 20, 2009 (UTC)
Most vandals only vandalize once. Blocking a first time vandal for more than two weeks is usually unnecessary. If he decides to vandalize pages again after his current block is up, I'll give him a longer block. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 21:24, September 20, 2009 (UTC)
He decided to use a proxy to evade his block. I'll change the block to 2 months, though it won't do any good if he decides to use more proxies. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 21:24, September 20, 2009 (UTC)
OK. Do you think that you can keep look out on my user page as i need to go to bed soon. Thank you for your help. Solar Dragon (Talk) 21:28, September 20, 2009 (UTC)
I semi-protected your user page for a week. If he comes back after that, feel free to tell me. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 21:32, September 20, 2009 (UTC)
All right. Thanks for everything. Good night. Solar Dragon (Talk) 21:35, September 20, 2009 (UTC)

Three questions

Since you're an admin can you answer these questions?

  1. On the recent changes page each edit either has a positive green number or a regular red number; for example (+37) or (-1397). What do those mean?
  2. Should we start making pages about the characters in the super smash flash games? I know that super smash flash and ssf2 are not official Smash Bros. games but they are still smash games and this is SmashWiki.
  3. I know this might not be my business but what's Railizardz's problem? He asked for my friend to be banned because of his welcome, he asked for an administrator to be banned, and gave you a spam message.

—Preceding unsigned comment added by Tuth (talkcontribs) 15:34, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

I'm also an admin, so I hope it's okay if I answer your questions on behalf of Pikamander2.
  1. The numbers tell you how many characters were added or removed from an article in that edit (characters are letters, numbers, punctuation, spaces, etc.). If the article is made longer, then the number will be preceded by a + and will be green, and if the article is made shorter, then the number will be preceded by a - and will be red. If the edit added or removed 500 characters or more, then the number and + or - will be in bold. For example, (+37) means that the article is 37 characters longer than it was before the edit, and (-1397) means that the article is 1397 characters shorter than it was before the edit.
  2. The Super Smash Flash series of games are not official Smash games, and SmashWiki is an encyclopedia about the official games. It's debatable as to whether the series deserves its own page on this wiki at all, and many people believe that the article should be deleted, so I doubt that any further articles on the Super Smash Flash series would be allowed.
  3. Forget about Railizardz - unless anybody wishes to persuade me to unblock him, or if any of the Administrators disagree with the decision I took, we'll never hear from him again.
PenguinofDeath 16:19, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
@POD-Thank you for answering that for me.
@Tuth-What POD said. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 20:04, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
  1. Thanks for clearing that up.
  2. Now that I brought it up I think in would be a good idea whether or not to delete the SSF page. I suggest that a smaller version of it (much smaller) should be somehow put in the SSBM article. Also, Brawl+ is unofficial so you should consider deleting it too.
  3. Good!
  4. How do you get you signature changed? --Tuth (talk) 15:42, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
Once again, I hope Pikamander2 doesn't mind if I answer on his behalf.
I think that a lot of people would argue that there should be a Super Smash Flash article, and if you were to propose its deletion, there could be trouble. There is one thing I can say for certain about it: it shouldn't go in the Melee article. If there were to be anything on it at all, it should be the current article but with unnecessary detail removed. Brawl+ might be unofficial, but it's so popular that it'd be weird if we didn't have an article on it, and instead left it to one of the much smaller Brawl hacks wikis, so I think it should stay.
To change your signature, click "MORE" at the top right of the screen, and a small drop-down menu will appear. Click "Preferences" and find the word "Signature" - in the box to the right of that word, just type in the code for the signature that you want. If you want to experiment to see what different signatures look like, use the Sandbox and keep on changing the code and using Preview to see what it looks like until you're happy with your signature. Then just copy the code into the box on the Preferences page. There are certain rules about signatures that you should keep in mind when making your signature. Need help with editing

Hi I tried to post a diagram in an article but it was a total failure and is anything but neat, could you help me to locate the picture correctly, I dont know where to locate it. Now the image being useless is another potential problem.----NOT Zinnamon (talk) 21:46, October 10, 2009 (UTC) NowI managed to put the image like I wanted but i dont know if it is good.

Re:Re:SSB4 Character Wishlist

Hi! Thanks for the welcome, and sorry about the SSB4 Character Wishlist thingy :|. Looking forward to working with you too! SleepingDragon7 (talk) 04:21, October 18, 2009 (UTC).

Ridley must be in the next Smash Bros 4. Geno and Megaman are great but Ridley is real important to fit in the roster. Just not as a starter character so there will be something to work for.Gamespot even said Ridley is the most deserving character to be playable in a Smash Bros ( ABOVE Megaman, who is likely the Capcom character recieving 55% of votes on a capcom character in ssb4 poll). So many reasons more but Ridley is essential. Drakkon64 (talk) 09:26, 25 November 2011 (EST)
