I'm not exactly sure, to be honest I don't even know for sure if they do appear, I'm just going by sources I found online. I do plan on rewatching the movie at some point in the future so that way I can confirm or deny this, so until then don't take the duck appearance as fact just yet, but if you do happen to find proof that they're in it, please let me know. If it's like some kind of "Mario on Ice" thing, that's being left out too. I'm not doing broadway and "on Ice" stuff, because 1: This is mainly meant for movies and TV shows, and 2: If I were to include those, this article would most likely have a longer load time than Sonic '06 and the Sonic Boom games combined. Um, sorry to bother you but: There was a Castlevania TV show on Netflix once. The Belmont in it might have been Richter, but I am unsure. The Netflix Castlevania series does not feature Simon nor Richter (the Belmont featured is named Trevor), and while Ganon does appear in the old Zelda stuff, Ganondorf was never introduced prior to Ocarina of Time (The show aired 1989 whereas Ocarina of Time was 1998, nearly a decade after). Marth's Digimon cameo

Should it even qualify for this list? If I recall on your "blacklist", you excluded Pac-Man's cameo in Tron due to being more of a "witty reference" than a "legitimate reference".

Unless there's more scenes of him in the episode than from what I could find, that seems to be the same case for "Marth's" cameo in Digimon. And even if he appears in more than that scene, is that character actually supposed to be Marth or is it just an unlicensed lookalike of him? Compared to other cameos within the episode, the resemblance to Marth is too uncanny to ignore. Additionally, I blacklisted Pac-Man's appearance in Tron because it's not technically Pac-Man, if I'm remembering right they're looking at a map that's designed like a Pac-Man grid. Compare that to Marth, the context of the episode is that a Digimon is bringing video game characters to life, so one can very easily deduce that as Marth. I now understand, but my real concern is if that appearance is actually official or not. Like, is there any word from the show's producers/Toei/Bandai Namco/Intelligent Systems/Nintendo/whatever on whether that character is indeed supposed to be Marth or not, no matter how much he resembles him? It's kind of a semantics thing, really (which this page is filled to the brim with at this point). He's definitely not a parody because unlike other characters there, he's not being made fun of or based on anyone, and while to my knowledge it hasn't been stated that it's Marth, like I said, the resemblance is just close enough including the context of why he's there in the first place to where one can easily assume until told otherwise. I see now. Personally, I'd either remove this entirely, or at the least, make a list of "lookalike" cameos and include it there and remove sans and cuphead from this sandbox entirely, but that's a whole other can of worms, but it is your sandbox, so feel free to add whatever you want.

Animal Crossing Movie

So, regarding the Animal Crossing movie, there are actually TWO human characters: Ai, as mentioned on the page, and another one, Yu.

From what info I could find regarding the latter character, he seems to be based on the concept of one player visiting another's town, so I think he definitely deserves a mention on that film's section as a stand-in for the male Villager, much like how Ai is a stand-in for the female Villager.
