Just so we're clear

I'd love to do Layton. I really would. He has a lot of potential for a moveset, and his huge history with Nintendo gives him a worthy spot in Smash itself, whether it be this or in an actual game.

But here's the thing. I have absolutely no clue about special moves. Like, I can make up some fancy fencing shit for his normal attacks, and I have a pretty good idea of what his Final Smash would be, but other than that, I have no idea on what his specials would be (let alone customs).

Sure. Right now, I am focusing on the Trainer and their Pokémon, which I probably won't be finished with until after this week. The main reason I decided to do six instead of five is because one of my friends is working on a moveset for Eevee. Hawlucha probably has a better potential moveset than Luxray. I don't see why you can't go all out and just do both though. Also, can I reserve Sableye for this project? The way it stands, each character requires between two and four images (artwork and head icon always, plus the possibility of costumes and a series symbol). They must be listed on the table and template, have a boxing ring name and Palutena's Guidance, plus if there's a new series symbol it has to be added to the list of series symbols. Then there's also to-do lists or userspace navigation templates (I know I have both, I think DF does too). So that means between six and eleven edits necessary for one character page, not counting any typos or anything that we might miss while previewing (i.e. "her sister Elsa") Although I don't think it really hides anything at a time like this when nothing's going on (besides vandal attacks, which I doubt we'll be missing anytime soon), that is an unnecessarily large amount of edits.

What might make it easier would be to merge the Palutena's Guidance, Series Symbol, and Stage/Character lists with the main page. That merges three edits and brings it down to between five and ten. Palutena's Guidance and Series Symbol are their own pages on the wiki. Character/Stage lists are separate templates to save space on the page as a whole. Cutting characters

Would it be a good idea to cut incomplete characters that have not had work done to them in a while? I have one character in particular that I would like to apply this to; however, characters that are being worked on in chunks can stay, as they, while incomplete, are shown to have work applied to them. Tabuu for Project Dream.

I think that Tabuu should be in project dream, me and somebody else will create it. By the way, he's severely nerfed to be playable, and he has a Final Smash, Off-Wave rain, and his alternate costume is Mustached Tabuu. and he has counter as a down special, Has a sword that has a similar effect as Roy's that OHKO's opponents, but without any damage to him. That's his Standard special, His Side Special is the Chains Of Light, and finally he has a up special Telaport, does no damage, and the Side Spear is removed, and he's smaller, to Bowser's size. His taunts is he turns into his Side Spear turns back, no forward motion. (Side taunt) He pulls out a Towtow, the Towtow is also harmless (Up Taunt) He pulls out Metal Primid, it goes out to the nearest opponent and does a punch for 10% damage, and the Metal Primid is indestructible, and then returns to Tabuu. (Down taunt). And he's stronger than Bowser, but weaker than Giga Bowser. TabuuandMasterCore 16:37, 19 May 2016 (EDT)
