PreviewingEdit

Please use the "show preview" button in order to make single large edits as opposed to several minor ones. Toomai Glittershine   The Sharp 11:38, 29 March 2015 (EDT)

Kinda would like to remind you about this, as you made several edits to Charizard (SSB4) recently, which could have all been done in one big edit.  Penro 22:28, 10 May 2016 (EDT)
OK thanks for reminding me :) --Darthrai (talk) 11:11, 16 May 2016 (EDT)

Alt costume namesEdit

We have somewhat of an unofficial rule concerning alt costume names that, whenever possible, they should be a single word (and preferably a colour). All of the existing alt costume names have been selected to conform to this as best as possible. Please do not change any existing alt costume names without first discussing on the talk page why you think your option is more accurate. Toomai Glittershine   The Wacko 23:10, 8 June 2015 (EDT)

Your editsEdit

You don't need to add all that you're adding to the pages you are editing...it's making the pages worse. If you're not sure of yourself, as indicated by your edit summaries, then don't make edits. Or, try throwing things on the talk pages. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 20:12, 14 November 2015 (EST)

Scratch what I said about not making edits. Better thing to say: If you're not sure of yourself, read over what you have repeatedly, make appropriate changes if needed, reread, and repeat, until you are sure of yourself. Then submit. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 20:16, 14 November 2015 (EST)

OK, thanks for telling me.--Darthrai (talk) 20:24, 14 November 2015 (EST)

Are you...Edit

...the same Darthrai on Bulbapedia, by chance?  Aidan, the Wandering Dragon Warrior  10:45, 10 May 2016 (EDT)

Yep, that's me.--Darthrai (talk) 22:13, 10 May 2016 (EDT)

Lol. I saw you on the Rowlet page and thought, "...wait a second...". :P  Aidan, the Wandering Dragon Warrior  09:05, 11 May 2016 (EDT)

Regarding Zero Suit SamusEdit

I can understand how the description could look a bit wordy. While that's due to her design being one of the most noticeably changed among the cast, I'm willing to work with you on trimming it down so that it doesn't look as expansive as it is.

When it comes to her height, one point of reference I used was this side-by-side shot comparing her appearances in Brawl and SSB4. In the event that picture isn't sufficient, ZSS herself technically is shorter than she was in Brawl, but due to wearing the Jet Boots, her hurtbox is largely similar to how it was in Brawl. 173.171.36.66 23:57, 5 June 2017 (EDT)

Yeah, I've definitely come around to your trimmed down format. I even implemented it for Palutena's page regarding her special moves, so I'm glad we managed to find common ground on lessening the clutter while retaining the accumulated information. :)
In regard to Other M, I don't think the 5'1" measurement is spot-on, but it's not too far off. In addition to Adam, I know for a fact that she is quite a bit shorter than Anthony, even while wearing her Power Suit. In fact, K.G. seems to be the only other person that she's definitively taller than while wearing the Power Suit, while official art even states that she is small when not wearing the Power Suit. I've seen 5'5"-5'7" floating around as her height without the Power Suit, which sounds very plausible both from a real-world perspective and when taking into account her height in Other M. 173.171.36.66 17:52, 8 June 2017 (EDT)
The whole "6+ feet, 200 lbs." argument was actually born from a slight mistranslation on the part of Super Metroid's official Player's Guide. In reality, those measurements are while she is wearing her Power Suit. Good Smile Company makes figurines officially licensed by Nintendo and when you factor in their ZS Samus figurine's height (220 mm / 8.66142 inches) and scale (1/8), it means that ZS Samus is approximately 5 feet, 7.5 inches in Other M (for reference, I used this calculator to confirm it).
And yeah, she's not necessarily petite, but rather fit and toned, as shown by Fusion and Zero Mission each having numerous special ending pics. Fusion, Zero Mission and Other M establishments aside, I could plausibly see a suitless Samus being 6'3" and nearly 200 lbs. of muscle if it was established that her Chozo DNA infusion and/or living under Zebes' gravity affected her physiology that drastically. 173.171.36.66 21:15, 8 June 2017 (EDT)
Other M is slightly inconsistent with her eye color. It features her eyes being more bluish in some cutscenes and being more greenish in others. To its credit, however, it did what the majority of other Metroid games didn't and largely adhered to Zero Mission's developmental art details, which were written by Sakamoto (who is Metroid's de facto Word of God like how Aounuma is to Zelda and Miyamoto is to Mario). 173.171.36.66 18:39, 12 June 2017 (EDT)
I actually didn't notice that until you pointed it out, so good job on catching that. 173.171.36.66 04:21, 13 June 2017 (EDT)

Language in UltimateEdit

From your edit to Language: "Separate regional translations in the same language no longer exist." What's your source for that? It's true that the language select menu doesn't have separate entries, but that does't mean there aren't separate regional languages. It could simply choose between e.g. en_US and en_UK based on the Switch's system region. SuperFalconBros (talk) 16:08, 4 November 2018 (EST)

Good point. I think it's the case comparing it to, say, Super Mario Odyssey and BOTW which do have separate regional translations for French and Spanish at least.--Darthrai (talk) 14:01, 5 November 2018 (EST)
Just a note here, I checked Nintendo UK gameplay footage and noticed that the Boxing Ring titles all matched the US version of the game. Now, that could mean a lot of things -- there's only one English localization, or there are still two localizations but both use the US Boxing Ring titles, or there are still two localizations but the UK demo was just using US English settings. I think we can just wait until the game is out to edit the article one way or the other. SuperFalconBros (talk) 18:36, 5 November 2018 (EST)
Something worth pointing out is this. Aidan, the Thankful Rurouni 18:38, 5 November 2018 (EST)
I was just making an edit to Talk:Language along those lines. It may be the case that regional scripts still exist, affecting things like "color vs. colour" in game text like Help and Tips, but the character names may have been standardized. So we just need to remember to verify beyond the character names/Boxing Ring titles. SuperFalconBros (talk) 18:45, 5 November 2018 (EST)

For your chartEdit

Thought I'd help you with the ones where you lacked series knowledge.

  • Simon and Richter: Simon (arcade version) saves his bride from Dracula while Richter saves his girlfriend from Shaft's cult so both are straight, sterotypes about whipping be darned.
  • Isabelle: Possibly has crush on mayor, no matter the gender.
  • Ness and Lucas: Probably both under too young to tell.
  • Pac-Man: In relationship with Ms. Pac-Man and has a varying number of children with her depending on exact canon

Hope that helps your little side project.

Show PreviewEdit

Hey, please try and use Show Preview before you save your edits. It would help reduce RecentChanges/watchlist clutter a lot. Thanks! – Emmett 13:48, 28 February 2019 (EST)

Page moveEdit

Hey I know it's April fool's day and you can make a bunch of jokes, but please don't move pages that have actual purposes because that has alot more of a consequence to doing that. Xtra   Talk Edits 21:43, March 31, 2019 (EDT)

April Fools DayEdit

Hi. I took a look at your April fools edits and it should be possible to undo all at once using the undo button so you won’t have to make multiple undos

Userpage editsEdit

Hey! Loving the Kingdom Hearts stuff (I actually left a comment on Aqua's talk page), but would you maybe mind putting that on hold for now, since we have an upcoming character for Ultimate that's releasing soon? I just don't want edits to be lost in the Recent Changes by you doing userpage edits, since edits are gonna come quickly relatively soon. Aidan, the Rurouni 11:42, March 4, 2021 (EST)

Hey! Thanks so much, and sure thing, no worries! I'll put it on hold for a bit but try to complete a few pages for AFD - feel free to add your own edits too if you like, or encourage others to do the same. I just created Sora's page and sporked most of the content from his SSF2 incarnation on the McLeodGaming wiki so will happily finish things up once things clear up, and use some stuff from your character concept too! --Darthrai (talk) 11:45, March 4, 2021 (EST)
