Hi[edit]

Policy.png Reminder: Please remember that smasher and tournament articles must comply with our notability standards. Additionally, the notable players sections on character pages must also follow this rule.

Please read the message above. Thanks. Disaster Flare My signature image for the default signature. Duplicate of Lucina's life white stock head. (talk) 14:47, 1 September 2016 (EDT)

Please also adhere to SW:1RV, as some of your edits had been in violation of that. Disaster Flare My signature image for the default signature. Duplicate of Lucina's life white stock head. (talk) 14:48, 1 September 2016 (EDT)

Can you see this? Not sure how the message system works. I would love to add links to my notable placements! —Preceding unsigned comment added by B3mccowan (talkcontribs) 18:54, 1 September 2016 (EST)

Sure, before we get into that, remember to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). Now, I'm not sure if you're BT-Mac or not, but if you are, unfortunately from what I can find, the results aren't notable enough. I even found a chronological list of placements on Smashboards and all of those seemed to be either weeklies or extremely small tournaments, neither of which makes a smasher article notable under our standards. If you'd like a full list of what'd make a smasher article notable, please read this. It'll give you all the information you need to know, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask anyone. Now, one more thing I would like to cover is the content of the smasher articles you make. You give only the bare minimum of what is required, and recently we've been making a habit of deleting any and all smasher articles created that only gave very little, regardless of notability, mainly because it feels lazy and it's not fair to make others finish what you started. What we need is an infobox, tournament results listed, and brief info about the smasher in question. If you're not sure how to work with templates, you can copy some of the text from other smasher articles and use them as a base. Disaster Flare My signature image for the default signature.
