Also, I'm a bit pro-aidanzapunk. Sorry! INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 04:43, 21 October 2015 (EDT)
Thanks for the welcome. But why apologize for having an opinion? I'm also not against him, just his current RfA. Aardvarkian (talk) 04:45, 21 October 2015 (EDT)
1. No problem. 2. I understand now. INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 04:46, 21 October 2015 (EDT)
Top tips: 1. Click the redlink in the top corner to create your userspace. (I'd rather hold off until you do mainspace edits, as there is a chance of probation right now.) 2. Go to your Preferences for an awesome signature. (Use my signature as a base to improve your signature.) INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 04:52, 21 October 2015 (EDT)
Oh, thanks dude! You rock! (Aardvarkian's Talk Page • My Contribs) 05:00, 21 October 2015 (EDT)
No problem dude. However, Your signature is violating link-wise, as there is no link to userspace. (Talk is optional btw) INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 05:03, 21 October 2015 (EDT)
Just checked SW:SIG, it says that you must link to either your userspace or your talk page (Preferably both). Your signature is not violating in the first place. :-) INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 05:05, 21 October 2015 (EDT)
Oh ok. Well, I was kinda having issues with it format- and link-wise, but I'll deal with that later. Aardvarkian (talk) 05:08, 21 October 2015 (EDT)

(Redet indent) your sig is fine, you just need to link your contribs Special:Contributions/Aardvarkian here. (I have a custom contribs page as I am clever with wikicode) INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 05:09, 21 October 2015 (EDT)

Fixed signature: (copy paste this into preferences) (Aardvarkian's Talk Page • My Contribs) (Don't copy paste the following signature) INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 05:17, 21 October 2015 (EDT)
Man, thanks so much! (Aardvarkian's Talk Page • My Contribs) 12:03, 21 October 2015 (EDT)

Hmph

Did you click minor edit on purpose? You removed half a KB of the page, I don't think that's minor. That's just misleading. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 13:42, 25 October 2015 (EDT)

Given the low importance trivia inherently is, and what and how much I removed, yes I clicked that on purpose. It's also hard to be misled with something like that when it shows just how much you've added or removed. But, I just read the outlines for editing and saw that it should be used for typos or fixing links, so I won't do it again. (Aardvarkian's Talk Page • My Contribs) 13:48, 25 October 2015 (EDT)

Alright, thanks for clarifying. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 13:54, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
No problem. But crap, I just did it again out of habit... (Aardvarkian's Talk Page • My Contribs) 14:01, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
Haha. Look out, a user in all caps is active. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 14:10, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
I looked at his contribs and they are few and far in between. He's nothing to worry about, I think. Haha. (Talk • Contribs) 14:17, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
I half hope and half don't. I desperately want rollback :-(. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 14:20, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
Do you need one more case for you to obtain it, or have you tried and failed and want more to go for it again? (Talk to Me)(Look at What I Do) 14:21, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
I only have one case. I need two :-/. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 14:22, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
Well, there have been a lot of cases lately and you've missed most of those, I'm guessing. But, hopefully one will pop up for you! (Hit me up)(Oh, look at my crap) 14:24, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
By the way, how long have you been trying? (Call me maybe)(Oh no, what have I done?) 14:41, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
I've been trying for the past month. Also sorry for replying late, I was busy playing Brawl (don't shoot me). Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 14:58, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
I FART IN YOUR GENERAL DIRECTION!! ...Alas, Brawl is a good game. Well, if you want rollback, keep at it then. AardvarkianWord and deed 15:05, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
Lol yeah I'll keep trying. Anyway yeah I'm tired of Melee diehards. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 15:15, 25 October 2015 (EDT)
Both Melee and Brawl are fun though. It can be hard to get into Melee competitively. Aardvarkian (WordsActions) 15:23, 25 October 2015 (EDT)

Reset for obvious reasons Yeah, but Melee doesn't click to me as well because of the lack of buffering, my broken control stick, the low hitlag, and the universally poor hitbox placement. Still one of the best games I've ever played. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 15:28, 25 October 2015 (EDT)

Ah, I see. There's a lot of imbalance in Melee. I've been digging Smash 4 a lot more than either as of late. Mostly due to the new characters. One of the few things I dislike about Smash 4 is the blastlines, though... Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 03:58, 26 October 2015 (EDT)

Yeah, this has gone off-topic...thanks for the chatter though! Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 04:37, 26 October 2015 (EDT)

If you don't want a string of edits...

...there's always the "show preview" button. Changing the head icon used. No biggie.Aidan, Master of Speed and AuraPer Request, for User:Aidanzapunk. 15:28, 27 October 2015 (EDT)

I know. I was just being too hasty. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 18:42, 27 October 2015 (EDT)

You're leaving?

Sorry to hear it man, good luck with whatever you are doing :D SerpentKing (talk) 00:05, 29 October 2015 (EDT)

Thanks. I hope I made a good impact on the wiki, or at least made good contributions with what I had. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 00:12, 29 October 2015 (EDT)

Welcome back!

I'm not quite sure what happened, but glad you're back. :D Disaster Flare (talk) 23:12, 4 November 2015 (EST)

Thanks. Didn't know I was missed much. It was a matter of me working out some things. I thought I would have to leave for good but that isn't the case anymore. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 23:15, 4 November 2015 (EST)

I see, well if it helps any, any good faith user, no matter who they are, would be missed if they were forced to leave, at least in my book. Disaster Flare (talk) 23:16, 4 November 2015 (EST)
Interesting line of thought. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 23:20, 4 November 2015 (EST)
I try to keep an open mind about everybody, regardless of their choices in life so. Disaster Flare (talk) 23:21, 4 November 2015 (EST)
Well, me too haha. Glad we think alike, you also sound like a caring person. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 23:24, 4 November 2015 (EST)
I've been told that, by quite a few people on here actually. I will admit I do have my moments though, but at the same time, who doesn't? XD Disaster Flare (talk) 23:25, 4 November 2015 (EST)
Figured as much. Nobody's up to par with the presupposed standard we call perfection, and though we will never reach it, we can try. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 23:40, 4 November 2015 (EST)
Amen to that. :) Disaster Flare (talk) 23:42, 4 November 2015 (EST)

Hey.

My CSS is currently having slight problems with your username formatting, as it is displaying blue underlined text (Which is what I use for redlinks), even when I spam !important tags in the coding. (I suspect it might be due to you not having a userpage) So yeah, I would like it if you made a short userpage (Even if it is empty) to satisfy my CSS. Thank you. INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 06:13, 11 November 2015 (EST)

If you fancy, you can dump whatever you want (as long as it doesn't violate policy) into userspace. (Like your signature, or a short description about yourself). INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 06:17, 11 November 2015 (EST)

Want your CSS to look nice, huh? K i gotchu Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 16:33, 11 November 2015 (EST)

Actually, my CSS is decked out with 28kb of code! (And it has a bit of code just for you ;-) (It styles most links to your userpage the way your signature appears)) INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 17:14, 14 November 2015 (EST)
No idea what you're talking about because I have never dealt with CSS, but cool Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 17:16, 14 November 2015 (EST)
Use my CSS if you want to whip up a custom skin, as it has a ton of code that you can use to whip a custom skin up! INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 17:19, 14 November 2015 (EST)
Sweet man, I'll check it out later. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 17:20, 14 November 2015 (EST)
No problem. I'm fluent at CSS, so I can whip up complex things to assist myself. INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 17:23, 14 November 2015 (EST)

Midgar

I don't know why you didn't change with your suggestion instead of removing all of it. Whether you're fond of it or not, all stages that originates from a game have been appeared on a Nintendo system at some point, but Midgar hasn't because FFVII hasn't appeared in a Nintendo system. It's just like how Wooly World is the first stage to be based on an upcoming game at the time of SSB4's release. Magiciandude (talk) 22:14, 14 November 2015 (EST)

Yeah, you're right, that was dumb of me. I've been dealing with bad edits a lot today so I was kinda annoyed. Sorry. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 22:16, 14 November 2015 (EST)

It's fine, we've all been there. I just thought it was a bit odd. Magiciandude (talk) 22:19, 14 November 2015 (EST)
Ok. Yeah I felt odd afterward too. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 22:27, 14 November 2015 (EST)

Welcome back! Again.

Dude, welcome back. INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 13:26, 17 December 2015 (EST)

Thanks, how you been? Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 13:32, 17 December 2015 (EST)

Doing fine over here! How about you? INoMedssig.png INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 14:12, 17 December 2015 (EST)
doing pretty good, I'm so hyped over the new characters. Though Bayonetta looks cool, I wish someone else won... Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 14:58, 17 December 2015 (EST)

Wait, I just realized

The Kanye West quote you had on your userpage was one of my least favorite songs ever. xD Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 14:55, 16 January 2016 (EST)

Yeah, he's a big egoist, the song's kinda funny and nonsensical though. I just thought that specific lyric was hilarious. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 14:58, 16 January 2016 (EST)
It's funny, but the lyrics itself has very little context in the song. I mainly hate the production and screaming. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 15:01, 16 January 2016 (EST)
Yeah, the screaming at the end is obnoxious. The lyrics' kinda silly in that of all things why would he want croissants? It links to the "French-ass restaurant" part I guess. Oh, Kanye... Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 15:04, 16 January 2016 (EST)

Topic is settled but I'm curious

I mentioned on the talk page that those two glitches have been in their own section since *goes to check* almost a whole year, and only now have you said something different. I do not wish to start up another argument (and I'm sure you don't either), but I'm very curious as to why you only spoke up today. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 15:27, 20 January 2016 (EST)

I...didn't know until you told me? If you find something that think should be fixed here, you make your changes. At least for me, I don't look at the history of the pages and think "Oh, this has been year for a long time now, I shouldn't mess with this even if it looks like it could be made better." Also, I know it sucks that your images are only linked to, but look at the big picture: you've done far more for the wiki than just those images. Take some pride in that. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 15:30, 20 January 2016 (EST)
Maybe I just notice things that some other people don't? Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 15:32, 20 January 2016 (EST)
It just baffles me as to why something could stay for so long, and then have someone else complain about it. Granted, yes, all people have different opinions, and anyone can submit their own opinions, but I'm pretty sure you came on here after I had added it.
And yes, I have, but still. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 15:34, 20 January 2016 (EST)
As for the images, I get it. It sucks because you put forth effort into getting them and now they're only visible when clicking on a link. As for the baffling...I think it happens more than you think here. It's not limited to sections: in principle, this applies to grammar, spelling, content, images, and the like. This also happens in life outside the wiki too... Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 15:39, 20 January 2016 (EST)
The way I see it, if you want something changed, you should speak up sooner than later, because if you speak up later, there will be more people who are fine with it being the way it was. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 15:41, 20 January 2016 (EST)
You should change the way you see that when it comes to Wiki pages. By nature, wiki pages are contributions made by people - dedicated, drop-in-drop-out, one-offs - at different times, different places, different viewpoints, etc. It's a group effort that, by nature, is subject to constant changing, again, by nature. There are expectations and guidelines, but authoritative responsibility is only handled by those, well, in authority. In that sense, most users are not responsible for keeping up with everything they can. They are expected to follow whatever rules are layed out, but any responsibility tied to pages outside of authority is not given. I check back on whatever pages I want, and so do others. It is not my problem if there is a problem that has stayed on a page for a long time; it is not my responsibility to be "fine" with whatever changes are made to other pages. I do what I can to improve things, and I think you do too, but I think you gotta understand - by nature, nobody is expected to be a respecter of time. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 15:48, 20 January 2016 (EST)
Also, I don't completely "like" the fact that being a "respecter of time" is not expected, because, like you, I have made contributions that I really like and am proud of, but unfortunately, and to varying degrees, things on wiki pages are subject to change without anyone knowing and that's how it is. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 15:50, 20 January 2016 (EST)

(Reset indent) I've been through change so often that I'm used to it at this point, so it's not like I dislike change. I just don't get how, whether it's a group effort on a wiki or not, people can say something that other people are fine with, and then have someone say after a long period of time that they disagree. I'm not saying you're wrong at all, nor am I saying that someone should have to respect time. It's just one of the things that'll always confuse me. ...Like women. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 15:53, 20 January 2016 (EST)

I get you. You're used to how things can be one way for a long time and not change, and then something pops up and changes something that you didn't see coming and didn't expect to change at all, and it's weird. I get you, man. Don't even get me started on women, though... Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 15:56, 20 January 2016 (EST)
If you ever get the chance, try studying philosophy and religion. Schisms can happen after a long period of acceptance happens a lot in those fields. Ever heard of Martin Luther? Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 16:00, 20 January 2016 (EST)
Things like you mention all happen in the mind. It's nothing new, but it is usually very surprising when it does happen. After studying certain things, my mind sometimes gets blown and I'm like "That's how it really is? Dang..." Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 16:02, 20 January 2016 (EST)
Funny that you mention religion; I happen to be an atheist. :P AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 16:05, 20 January 2016 (EST)
Well I'm theist haha. A good thing to do, and something that I've been trying to do, is to remedy my ignorance of religion and learn about it. It's hard because it's weird and boring often, but it helps to converse with actual people who are part of the religion and surround yourself with it. Nobody likes an ignorant atheist or religious person, you know? That's why you gotta find why you believe why you believe. Makes you think, which is good. If you want to see instances of disagreements of belief over religion and philosophy in history, and within yourself, studying them is always good for that. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 16:12, 20 January 2016 (EST)
I've studied a fair bit of religion. But still, there are always going to be things that I won't understand. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 16:17, 20 January 2016 (EST)
Yeah. In both religion and science, there will be things you won't understand regardless of your abilities and efforts. It's hard for me, personally, to be okay with that, and I'm not even sure if I should try be okay with that, you know? There are always new things being discovered in science, and many facts are not set in stone and are subject to change after new evidence. It can be a joy and a frustration to try to fully grasp both. Aardvarkian (TalkContributions) 16:22, 20 January 2016 (EST)

Farewell. ;,-(

It was a pleasure to work alongside you, and I bid you best wishes. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 08:32, 25 January 2016 (EST)

Concerns about physical appearance infodump on ZSS' pages

A user has been editing Zero Suit Samus and Zero Suit Samus (SSB4) to describe her physical features in great detail, and it came across as a bit TMI. For the former, I edited the page to flow better, while for the latter I moved everything to Trivia, so did it improve things

P.S. Sorry for the excessive edits, I marked some intermediate ones as minor, but from now on I'll try to let my mind percolate before I actually submit a bunch of edits so that they're all done in one go.--Darthrai (talk) 20:33, 5 June 2017 (EDT)
