Wii fit trainer pageEdit

You marked competitive player section as incomplete. Any particular reason?

While there are definitely more players of comparable skill level to those 10 not listed, I feel like 10 is a lot and the ones listed have arguably the best results. If anything, I'd imagine we would be removing players off the list as has been done before (other players like crash and s.... were taken off by other users) Wiifitkid (talk) 12:32, March 18, 2020 (EDT)

Guest: There is no information about Wii Fit Trainer’s SSBU tier placement history. That’s why it’s incomplete.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.149.232 (talkcontribs) 18:15, March 18, 2020 (EDT)

We currently do not have a tier list for Ultimate, especially since there are ongoing discussions on which tier lists to use. Cookies Creme 18:16, March 18, 2020 (EDT)

Guest: At least tell the readers what’s going on with the fighter. Something like, from early to present metagame. Users have done that to most Ultimate fighter pages even though we don’t have a tier list. Other character pages for Ultimate also don’t have info on their tier placement history. Here are the following I believe don’t have much info other than known players.

Dark Pit (SSBU) Dark Samus (SSBU) Diddy Kong (SSBU)—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.149.232 (talkcontribs) 18:23, March 18, 2020 (EDT)

Oh I see what you mean. Quick fyi, you should explain why you tagged something incomplete in the future, eg {{incomplete|Competitive metagame history}}. That way, people would know what should be added in. Cookies Creme 18:27, March 18, 2020 (EDT)

Guest: Got it! Would it be possible for the sections I marked to be filled with their tier placement history? Thanks in advance! By the way, where do I write my reason for tagging things?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.149.232 (talkcontribs) 18:29, March 18, 2020 (EDT)

For your first point, other users will get to it eventually, and if they don't I can try and help. As for your second point, exactly how I did it; add a "|" after "incomplete" and state your reasoning. If you want, I can do it for you. Cookies Creme 18:33, March 18, 2020 (EDT)

Guest: Great! I’ll explain my tags myself, but thanks for your consideration!—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.149.232 (talkcontribs) 18:35, March 18, 2020 (EDT)

Tier listsEdit

A reminder that there aren't any official tier lists we are considering right now. All the competitive expertise on the character belongs on the specific fighter page, not the character page. Cookies Creme 14:35, March 27, 2020 (EDT)

User with no account: But look at Mario's character page. It has everything on his tier placement history, specifically his appearance in Ultimate as a playable character. Could you explain that?
If you are talking about Mario#In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it doesn't. It's talking about how good Mario is and aside from a passing mention of his tier placement in Smash 4 there is nothing about his Ultimate placement. Cookies Creme 14:42, March 27, 2020 (EDT)

User with no account: But what about how good Kirby#In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is? How come he doesn't have something like that? And is there anything else about Kirby's appearance in Ultimate that the readers should know?

Most of the character pages don't have that yet, especially since the metagame is still changing a lot, and people will get to it eventually. Whatever's the case, tagging it as incomplete because of no tier list placement is not the way to go. Cookies Creme 14:48, March 27, 2020 (EDT)

User with no account: Oh! I see! Sorry about that.

Waluigi pageEdit

Guest: I have a question. Why are details of Waluigi’s fanbase wanting Sakurai to put him in Smash in the trivia?

This isn't the place to ask that question (also sign your talk posts with ~~~~).
As for your question, people wanting Waluigi in Smash is a very notable and infamous part of Ultimate's lifespan, and since this is a wiki we document anything that's notable. Cookies Creme 14:51, April 5, 2020 (EDT)

Your 4chan leakEdit

...is not a leak, since the whole thing hasn't been proven yet. I've moved it to the "rumors" page for time being. Cookies Creme 20:41, April 6, 2020 (EDT)

Guest: Sorry... I didn't read the top of the leak page. It was careless of me. Thanks for your help. However, I don't have an account, so I can't add it to the rumor list.

I added it. Thought to be honest it seems kinda fake, and it may be taken off the list in the future. Cookies Creme 20:56, April 6, 2020 (EDT)

Guest: I understand, but it was said by an unknown 4Chan user. Honestly, I think the Geno part of the leak sounds the most fake. Did you see the source of the leak?

A general tip: If a leak contains popularly requested characters, more than likely it's fake. After all numerous leaks such the atrocious "Grinch leak" claimed Geno will be playable (and not to mention I could tell it was photoshoped yet people still believed it), yet he never made it in. Guest: Thanks Cookies Creme and   OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) for your help!

By the way, where can I ask questions? 24.4.149.232 22:02, April 6, 2020 (EDT)

If it's about the page itself you can ask in the respective talk page (the link is at the top of the page). For questions about editing or SmashWiki itself you can ask other users or find the staff members here and they'll be willing to help (for staff I recommend Aidanzapunk or Disaster Flare because they're the most active).   OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 22:06, April 6, 2020 (EDT)

Permission to make user and talk pageEdit

Guest: Hey guys! I now have a account in SmashWiki! How do I get permission to make articles? Son Daniel (talk) 22:14, April 6, 2020 (EDT)

Once you've made enough edits and have been active for a certian amount of days, you will become autoconfirmed. See SW:AUTO for more details.   OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 22:16, April 6, 2020 (EDT)
