Your comment about how Sakurai lied is not only speculation and edit warring, but is quite frankly false. Sakurai stated that Rex was unable to make it into the base roster, not DLC; all the characters were decided and implemented before DLC was even considered, and there's nothing stopping him from adding him in the future.
