UGC Smash Open was a national Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament held at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville, Illinois, during December 2nd-4th, 2016. It featured a pot bonus of $40,000 between both games, one of the largest in the history of Smash tournaments.
