Subs Not Scrubs was an online Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Twitch-sub-only circuit. This features 8 partnered Twitch streamers hosting events throughout the month of June. Players will receive points based on their performances. The players with the most points advance to Top 8. $500 will be provided to the Top 8 Prize Pool, with 10% of all shop purchases increasing that. $500 will also be provided to a Crew Battle. The two streamers that raise the most money will be Captains and pick from the Top 8 players to compete before the Top 8 Bracket.
This was a qualifier for Shine 2017.
