  • This tournament breaks MkLeo's three year streak of winning Smash Factor for the most recent Super Smash Bros. game (which began with his victory at Smash Factor 4). Smash Factor 7 was won by ANTi, however Leo did not attend that year.
  • The singles tournaments for Melee and Ultimate were both won by American players, while the doubles tournaments for both respective games were won by Mexican players.
    • This is the second year in a row two singles events were won by American players, with Nintendude and ANTi winning the previous year.
  • The doubles tournaments for both Melee and Ultimate were both won by (different) players named Javi.
  • The Ultimate singles event at Smash Factor 8, Pound 2022, Smash Factor 9, and King Of Fields 95 3 have the most diverse top 8 at a major in terms of countries represented at 6: at Smash Factor 8, the countries being represented are Mexico, USA, France, Netherlands, Japan, and Costa Rica.
