Tournament:River Bottom Smash

River Bottom Smash (often times abbreviated as RBS) is a tournament series for Super Smash Bros. Inspired by Maine Competitive Gaming, and aiming to bring a boost of players to Maine Smash. The tournament series is run by BlaZe. The tournaments are held at River Bottom Video in Bath, Maine. These tournaments are held every month.

River Bottom Smash I was the very first tournament of the River Bottom Smash tournament series, it featured Melee, Smash 4 and Project M. The tournament was hosted by BlaZe and was took place in Bath, Maine at River Bottom Video. Notable Maine smashers at the tournament were SOLAR, Zombiehn, Neji, MrRyanNess, GlorySwole, Jurd, BlaZe, CocoBird and LOKi. The tournament did not have the best reputation, as the venue was cramped, many players had to stand due to lack of chairs. There were also customers at the store who interrupted matches and a player was injured. These issues are planned to be taken care of by the next tournament.
