Battle on the Strip was a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U regional tournament held in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 12th to 20th, 2016, with a $10,000 pot bonus. It featured three qualifiers where the top 4 of the online qualifier and the top 2 of each local qualifier were flown out to Las Vegas to compete in the main event, a 8-man double elimination bracket where losses are carried on. The online event started on November 12th and both the local events and the main event were on November 20th. Gabe and Cosmos were qualified through the local and online events respectively but were unable to attend due to personal reasons, and were replaced by Vash and Xero.
It also featured singles for Street Fighter V.
