Organized by 2GGaming, it served as the eighth qualifier of their 2GG Championship Series. The event was confirmed on August 23rd in a tweet, alongside the other three remaining events of the year.[1]
This saga showcased West Coast talent specifically from outside the SoCal region. Potential reimbursement for entry fees was being used as an incentive for players from various areas to register.
