Seems good. It definitely makes sense in terms of where a reader would navigate to next. Nyargleblargle.pngNyargleblargle (Talk | Contribs) 18:26, 18 November 2015 (EST)

Yeah, I figured something like this would make the company pages more navigable. It seems pretty non-controversial to me, but I'll wait a couple days to implement it in case someone has an issue with it they want to bring up or a suggestion for improvement. Might I ask why Rare is italicized? I bet I can guess why, but I want to make sure. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 15:57, 20 November 2015 (EST)
Former second-party. I wasn't sure if it a note indicating that was needed, or if the italics were sufficient on their own. Miles (talk) 16:02, 20 November 2015 (EST)

Western companies having a Japanese name[edit]

Should Western companies listed in the template have Japannese translation names for them? Juju1995 (talk) 01:44, July 24, 2019 (EDT)

Such as? Aidan, the Rurouni 01:48, July 24, 2019 (EDT)
Take, for instance, Microsoft. It doesn't have a Japanese translation name as it is an American-based company. On that subject, Nintendo-owned developer Retro Studios is located in Texas, so should it be given a translation also? Juju1995 (talk) 02:15, July 24, 2019 (EDT)

Subsidiaries in parentheses[edit]

In the template, subsidiary companies are displayed next to their parent companies in parentheses. Should we do the same thing with Monolith Soft, Retro Studios, and 1-Up Studio? As they're Nintendo-owned subsidiaries. Juju1995 (talk) 18:57, August 21, 2019 (EDT)
