Teddie (クマ, Kuma) is a character that originates from Persona 4.

Origin

Teddie is one of the playable characters in Persona 4, acting like a comical relief. He serves as the guide for the Investigation Team in the Midnight Channel. Before joining the player's party, he acts as support for battles, but after the party completes the Marukyu Striptease dungeon, he becomes a playable character.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

As a costume

Teddie appears as a DLC Mii Costume hat. Also, when the Mementos stage is using its Persona 4 design due to music from that game playing, Teddie makes a small cameo on a screen, being shown dancing inside a TV; this is based on the loading screens of Persona 4.

Trivia

• The Mii wearing the Teddie Hat seen in promotional material is sometimes seen wearing a dress. This is a reference to Teddie's cross dressing outfit, based on the Persona Alice.
