26 Rising (26R) is a professional esports organization located in Detroit, Michigan. They first entered Smash in May 2022 with the signing of four Michigan players; Zefer, Mr. Monday, Lavish, and Zinoto. The team followed this by signing the state's best player, Onin, on August 21st, 2022.
On November 21st, 2022, 26 Rising signed their first non-Michigan player in MuteAce, and would later sign Cosmos, ESAM, and ApolloKage throughout 2023. On December 12th, 2023, 26 Rising announced a new chapter for the organization focusing more heavily on Michigan talent and the content creation space, and shortly after released their remaining non-Michigan players.
