Perfect Shield ReflectionEdit

I took a Snapshot of Wolf reflecting a Scope Primid charge shot using only the standard Perfect Shield, but I'm not sure if:

  • Only certain characters can do it
  • The timing is much harder

or

  • Only certain projectiles can be reflected.

It's possible that only characters that have reflecting attacks like Cape and Mirror Shield can do this, but I haven't tested it thoroughly. - Gargomon251 21:00, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

DeletionEdit

Strong Delete. This page is neither a complete list of techniques, nor a list of all of the most common ones. Most of it is just a verbatim copy of the "advanced techniques" page on the Dojo, and the rest is poorly put together and completely arbitrary as to what techniques are listed. This should simply redirect to the techniques category. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 17:30, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Strong Delete. Same reason as Clarinet Hawk. DeleteThePage

Strong Delete. Same as above, it's redundant, misinformative and arbitrary. Ryzol (talk) 17:49, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Strong Delete. I feel this should be deleted do to obvious, monontonous reasons. Zmario (talk) 18:14, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Weak Keep - This should be simplified to a list of techniques, with one line summaries, imo. --Sky (t · c · w) 18:35, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Weak Keep - Decent article, but defeats the purpose of having seperate technique articles. (Wolf O'Donnell (talk · contributions) 22:26, 27 June 2008 (UTC))

This has already happened before, if I'm not mistaken. I don't know what in the world happened to the talk page, but it was decided to be kept as it's an actual article, not a list. It's a quick and simple overview of the techniques that Dojo!! talked about, so I think it's convenient for people who want something less in-depth and more general. It is an article, but it's not a very useful one. I could see the use for a brief overview page, but this isn't it. Not only are some of those techniques not listed on the dojo, it also mixes Melee and Brawl techniques, and it has some inaccuracies.
So how does this work, weighted majority rule? 4 strongly against, 2 weakly for, and if I'm interpreting yours correctly 1 strongly for. 4*2 vs. 2 + 1*2 -> 8 vs. 4 so delete it? Ryzol (talk) 04:05, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
