This is definitely false. While I couldn't test very well with Sonic's spring, a springboard (which should work, according to the page) will do nothing special. Either you hit it with the attack and go into the air normal distance, or you use the attack early enough you actually go below the board. I bet whoever made this page got confused about the fact that springs, say, normally make you jump high.–Entrea Sumatae 23:49, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

this was done on a custom stage. Also, just to clarify, gannondorf jumped about 4x higher than a normal spring jump, not his standard ground jump.

It means the spring in the stage builder. It works well with Ganondorf but not sure about Captain Falcon --Gannonbanned (talk) 12:02, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Deletion[edit]

I'm gonna give 'til the 30th for people to prove this exists. Otherwise, it's getting deleted. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 07:30, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, now that I have the correct information (whoever wrote the article fails miserably) I will say this works, if not quite as much as they claimed. Falcon can't get any boost, and Ganondorf gets perhaps a 2.5x jump (although with a metal box ending in the process I did manage to get an off-the-top hoop on the largest custom stage). I would put up pictures, except that it's actually fairly difficult: Ganondorf actually jumps too high for the built-in screen capture to take a screenshot of it, and I dont have the know-how to get a clear picture or video of the screen during gameplay. I could scrape something together if you really care, or you can just take it on faith.–Entrea Sumatae 17:58, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

I've done this glitch on Subspace Emmissary springs and Stage Builder springs. When I used it on the SSE springs, I would sometimes die off the top. Keep this article. - Amycats2 (talk) 21:37, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

This glitch does exist. And of course, this glitch belongs to THE KING.

Merge with Super Ganon Jump?[edit]

Is it not the exact same thing? From what I can tell, this has the same animation. Is it just an alternate method? ~ TheSilenceOfNoOne (talk) 02:52, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
