Timeline?

I feel like it's getting clumsy, as the paragraph just keeps getting longer with "A few <timeframe> later, Luigi was revealed. On <date>, Peach was revealed. Next was . . ."—perhaps we could keep a list in a style of a timeline (see the format for the Smash Bros. Dojo!! updates) until it reaches a size in which archiving would be needed? Even then, keeping important dates in a (hopefully more readable) list would probably be beneficial. Jigglypuff the Magic Dragon (talk) 18:58, 2 October 2013 (EDT)

The prose about the character reveals will definitely become messy soon; converting it into a list (maybe a table showing the date, character, etc.) would work. Scr7Scr7 sig.png(talk · contribs) 11:01, 3 October 2013 (EDT)

Site Redesign

At some point (I think during E3?) the entire website was given a makeover. Idk when exactly, if someone does could they add it to the timeline? ...a new NuttaNutta's Mallo sig.pngis approaching... 19:55, 28 July 2014 (EDT)

A "Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot" section

I'm surprised this hasn't been made yet, considering how huge it was. Just a simple summary of what it was about, how widespread it got, and some examples of common votes would be fine. To be completely honest, I could also see the Ballot taking up it's own page, due to all the voting propaganda and news coverage it got, but what do you guys think? Character page links

They are actually different between regions. For instance, on the UK version of the site, Corrin's page does have a link to the Fire Emblem Fates website. Zyrac sig.png Zyrac(talkcontribs) 14:09, 12 February 2016 (EST)

Really? If that's the case, there needs to be a way to put them on and make it clear that it's region-specific. Disaster Flare DisasterFlareValentineSig.png (talk) 14:10, 12 February 2016 (EST)

Split the ballot to it's own page

I brought this up on discord and decided to open a discussion on it here. To summarize it, the ballot was huge and I believe it to be worthy of its own article. Though it is short as of now, we can expand it to to give more elaborate detail on its history, a section reguarding the Bayonetta datamine, and finally how the results were used to determine Ultimate's newcomers (and also mention official comments on how well characters like Banjo placed), and of course Sora being the winner. What do you guys think? For my signature. Ultimate Toad, the Toad Warrior. (I'm the best!) 00:37, October 22, 2023 (EDT)

Support since it should have been a separate page back in Smash 4. ThegameandwatchIcon2.png Thegameandwatch Thegameandwatch signature icon.png The Nerd 13:10, October 22, 2023 (EDT)
I'm on record over a year ago saying the ballot deserves its own page, so I obviously support. One thing I'd like to see from this prospective page however (and I'm not entirely sure it'd be feasible or desirable) is a section talking about potential ballot exit polls to gauge what might have been the community's thoughts versus how they were reported and used in the ballot (i.e. talking about what characters placed highest and in what regions). - EndGenuity (talk) 17:41, October 25, 2023 (EDT)
Support. You couldn't go more than a few seconds in an average Smash group without some sort of ballot vote discussion. Felt like some sort of political election. -PlagueSigImage.pngPlague von KarmaPlagueSigImage.png 18:40, October 25, 2023 (EDT)
Having it own page makes perfect sense and easier to find without having to come back to hear constantly plus thanks to more revels by Sakurai, it deserves its own page.--Jacob9594 (talk) 21:57, October 31, 2023 (EDT)

Toad made a draft page to show roughly what this would end up looking like. --PlagueSigImage.pngPlague von KarmaPlagueSigImage.png 08:45, November 15, 2023 (EST)
