Checkmarks and “clear”

Do we know what the checkmark next to the spirit's rank, as well as the “clear” that appears in the upper left when the spirit is selected, mean? I've noticed that they don't always appear together. —Fenhl 17:18, April 25, 2019 (EDT)

A checkmark should mean at least a copy of the spirit is currently owned, and I suspect the Clear sign means this spirit battle has been actually beaten at least one time (excluding won/bought spirits but I think including World of Light battles). -Menshay (talk) 18:48, April 25, 2019 (EDT)

It may be different with 3.0.0., but at lease prior the checkmarks only refer to Spirits you actively have in your inventory. If you dismissed, enhanced, or used some to summon, the ones used would not have a checkmark on the Spirit Board despite having obtained them before and having them listed in your collection. Spirit Board Exclusives

I feel there should be a list of Spirits that can only be obtained exclusively by the Spirit Board. The "complete list of Spirits" is currently being discussed to be deleted. We have pages for Spirits that are exclusive to Summoning, Shopping (WoL) and Enhancing, we are only missing the ones exclusive to the Spirit Board. (Aside from Shopping, WoL exclusives are Master and Boss Spirits, which also have their own pages). Toad, Goron, and Fighting Alloy Team are examples of those that can only be obtained from the Spirit Board. Wolff (talk) 20:45, April 25, 2019 (EDT)

Thumbtack?

What does a thumbtack do when it appears on an Event Spirit? Juju1995 (talk) 12:40, April 29, 2019 (EDT)

Split

I propose splitting the page and creating a separate page dedicated for a list of spirit board events. At this rate, and if we were to assume that there will be many more events in the next few years or so, the section in question would become extremely crowded; therefore, splitting it away from this page would alleviate the problem. Also we have this page dedicated for spirit board events without randomly appearing spirits (as the title suggests), so why not have a list of spirit board events to complement the page? Support Sounds good and reasonable. Smore (talk) 02:34, July 25, 2019 (EDT)
This hasn't been touched upon in a long time. In short I support. I have to agree with Cookies on the fact that should there be more spirit board events in thr future, this page could get very crowded. Image for my signiture icon. OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 07:25, April 4, 2020 (EDT)
Support for the reasons given. We could replace the table with a link to the new page and add it to the template. Honestly we could also probably get rid of the "events without randomly appearing spirits" page and mark them on the new page, perhaps in bold or a highlight.--CanvasK (talk) 07:40, April 4, 2020 (EDT)
Looking over the other page, maybe it can stay. I was under the impression that every event had its own page but the events that are only SP, EXP, etc. only link to that page. Still in support of the main topic.--CanvasK (talk) 07:50, April 4, 2020 (EDT)

Spirit-type advantage and disadvantage for less or more rewards

Do the Spirit-type advantage and disadvantage effect the amount of rewards given when won a Spirit Battle, like less rewards when at an advantage and more when at a disadvantage? Juju1995 (talk) 08:45, March 20, 2020 (EDT)

I did a quick test with Tap-Tap/Proto Man (disadv) and Rabbid Kong/Geno (adv) against Ryo Sakazaki and I got (arguably) better rewards at a disadvantage (tried to minimize other factors by Inhaling and walking him off the edge with Kirby). The most common increase was more SP (60-300 for example), snacks seemed to fluctuate between more and less, and extra items (shield spacer, damage 50%, etc.) seemed to be higher. This was only 8 battles, so it may not be accurate. On top of that you deal a lot less damage and take more, so it may not be worth unless you have a quick kill/cheese.--CanvasK (talk) 09:18, March 20, 2020 (EDT)
